In 1998, the Lord gave me a vision of four generations rejoicing together in His glory. Although I received the vision then, the full understanding of its meaning would unfold over many years through prayer, preparation, and faithful obedience. Psalm 149:5 became the scriptural foundation that anchored this vision:
"Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their beds."Psalm 149:5
From serving at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under Apostle Eddie Long, to planting Relevant Connection Ministries in 2012, to building community partnerships and expanding ministry throughout Africa, every step has been part of God's process of preparation.
Alongside ministry, God also developed my entrepreneurial calling through engineering, facility management, and business leadership. What began as a simple act of obedience has grown into opportunities to serve major organizations and steward a thriving business enterprise.
Today, that journey has culminated in The Bridge International Apostolic Center, a ministry committed to developing disciples, empowering marketplace leaders, and building strategic partnerships that transform communities.

Follow one pathway through both eras
Relevant Connection Ministries, Douglasville
Seven years of pastoral work in Douglasville, where the model and the pathways were formed and tested before they had names.
2012
After a decade of service at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Melvin Green is blessed and released into ministry by the late Apostle Eddie L. Long. Relevant Connection Ministries begins in Douglasville.
The work of these first years is community work: Thanksgiving outreaches, a partnership with the police station, showing up where people already were. What it produced is the groundwork everything after it stands on.

February 2013
2015
The earliest recordings that still exist. A virtual church, a word on salvation, and the beginning of the Time For Connection broadcast that would run for the next two years.
2016
Three full Sunday services, recorded through the year and carried into the archive the following January. They are the fullest surviving picture of what a Sunday looked like in Douglasville.
2017
Time For Connection runs on AIB television. Melvin also records his testimony in two parts, the longest single account of the calling behind the work.
Seven episodes of the broadcast survive out of roughly eleven.
June 2017
In the pastoral era's final year, Relevant Connection Ministries is registered with the Republic of Kenya's Registrar of Societies as Relevant Connection Ministries (K), certificate number 33656. The Douglasville model now has a legal home on a second continent.
In the years that follow, a curriculum called Bridge Builders moves through Kenyan gatherings in hand-bound manuals, taught in English and translated into Swahili as Wajenzi wa Daraja: builders of the bridge.

Between the last broadcast of one era and the first post of the next, the ministry's channels stay quiet for four and a half years. The record of those years lives elsewhere: on Melvin's own pages, and an ocean away in Kenya.
December 2017
On Christmas Eve, Relevant Connection Ministries ordains its leaders: the pastoral era's last recorded act.
2018
Melvin transitions from the pastoral office to the apostolic, under the mentorship of Apostle Buddy Crum.
Easter 2018
He addresses his Douglasville neighbors: the Kingdom of God has come to the city.
November 2021
Relevant Connection Ministries U.S.A. and Kenya convene a Christian Leadership Conference in Matunda, in Kenya's Eldoret Region.
22 May 2022
He is commissioned as an Apostle during a worship service at Life Center Church in Dunwoody, Georgia.
July 2022
Seven weeks later, the ministry posts publicly again.

2020 to 2021
During the pandemic, drive-through food distributions run out of Optimum Facility Management trucks: the ministry and the business serving side by side.
March 2022
The business side of the calling puts down roots in the city that will become headquarters.
2022
Seven weeks after the commissioning, the ministry starts posting again. The Global Honor Unit campaign runs through 2022 and 2023 and becomes the most widely seen work it has published.
2023
A five part teaching series on the latter glory, taught and streamed across October. In September, a pastoral installation recorded in three parts.
2025
Bridge Lyfe Academy goes live, putting the pathways into courses anyone can take. The BridgeLyfe app ships on iOS and Android. Weekly Bridge Discussion sessions run through the first quarter.
2025
Before the pilot is named, the work is already in Pontiac: winter, summer, and fall of 2025.
2026
The pilot site is Pontiac, Michigan, where Melvin was born and raised, and the work reaches the city council there. The Marketplace Council forms. The Authority of the Lord's Glory releases as a book and an eight course track.
